What is the difference betweeen an opel and a vauxhall im confused because both look same?

No difference, other than the badge and some spec items. Vauxhalls are only sold in the UK, Opel in the rest of europe inc Eire - usual heritage stuff
An Opel is built in Germany, a Vauxhall in the UK. That is probably the only difference. Right hand and Left hand drive, of course. They are both units of General Motors.

Opel is the brand name for General Motors in continental Europe. Vauxhall is the brand name for General Motors in the UK. They are the same company but use different brand names. The cars look the same because they are the same but with different logos and badges.
Opel is all over the world, uk are just fussy and said 'lets be different and call it vauxhall'

They're exactly the same.
The Vauxhall brand is only used in the UK, while the Opel brand is used in the rest of Europe. The cars are otherwise identical, and are built in the same factories.
Only the Astra hatchback, estate and van and the Vivaro van are built in the UK, although not all UK Astras are UK-built, as some are supplied from Belgium or Germany.
Some models have other badges in non-European markets. The Astra and Vectra are sold in Australia with Holden badges (the Corsa was too until recently). These models were all built in Europe and shipped to Australia.
The Meriva and Corsa are also built in South America, where they have Chevrolet badges, and the 1993-2000 Corsa was called the Buick Sail when it was introduced in China. The last generation (1998-2005) Astra is now produced in Russia where it is badged Chevrolet Viva.

Basically ther is none, Its called vauxhall in this country but the company in america is called opel but they r the same car. its like honda, in usa the company is called acura its just the same car called different things in different countries.

And I think there are a quite a few others around the world
There is some Tie in with SAAB in Europe
TWR in the UK own ( at least part of ) HSV in Australia which is the Performance offshoot of GM Holden
