For the wheels, I would suggest going on ebay and picking up some 9-3 Aero wheels, much better than going for aftermarket ones, they'll look 100 times better. I used to own a Saab 9-3, awesome cars.

dude you can roll to wall mart pick up a little chord for 15 bucks plug it into your cigarete lighter and your ipod and it comes throug the sound system! you can even get ones hat sharge it for a little more
you can install a cd player that has an ipod dock in it. basically you plug the ipod in, pop it in the glove box and you can control it through the front piece. they come in around the £200 mark .. although they may be cheaper now.

It's more than possible that you can do it. The question is how involved you want it to be. You could go by changing the head unit, or altering the system itself.
But if you're looking for a cheap and simple solution, then you can always get a FM transmitter for your ipod, and all you'd have to do is set your radio's frequency to the same one set on the transmitter and you're done. --The quality isn't stellar, but you get what you pay for.
Just place it on your car seat. Your i-pod needs a comfortable rest on seat.

if your car is pretty new in the arm rest between the driver and passenger seat there is a headphone socket which you can plug your ipod directly into. Select cd on the stereo and then select aux and hey presto ipod city!
ive just brought my wife a ipod cassatte which allows you to connect your ipod and play it via the tape deck it cost me £1.00 for my local poundland have a look in these shops you will be amazed what you can get for the new gadets that are about
