Why does my EMS light keep flashing on my car?
Answers:
Suggest youtake your car to a garage. Looks like a problem with your engine management system, but it should be no problem for them to diagnose and rectify as they just plug a computer into the car to solve problems like that.
something is wrong?
Usually means one of the engine sensors on your car has detected a problem.
Take if for diagnostics and they will be able to tell you the exact problem.
Thats what happened on my vectra anyway.
Flasher is in its circuit !!
oh no sell it
Cos your car is busted. Head to your nearest car manufacturers main dealership and prepare to lose your anal virginity cos thats how much they charge these days!
(In their defence, at least they do the job properly, no names mentioned, cough cough, kwik fit.)
it might have helped if you had told people what make of car it was, silly, silly man!
oh, its a Vectra by the way people.
Unfortunatly i know this moron!
if it is flashing and will not start it is to do with the immobiliser.did the key come apart recently? if so the chip may have fallen out and you will need to get it to a dealer to get a new chip programmed in. if it happens while driving then it needs to be brought to a garage that can do a fault diagnosis - not necessarily a dealer to get it checked out.
