Did anyone else have major electrical and engine problems with their 306 Cabriolet?
Answers:
Hello
french cars have very dubious electrics which the manufacturers never seem to get right.
You are not alone and the 306 was'nt a dud but it did have possibly the most recalls of any car i can think of.
Everytime you were at the Peu? What on the leu having a peu you mean? Sorry, that's not helping you is it?
it is french most french cars come with this problem
Electrical problems with a Peugeot..imagine that.
My wife has had one for 5 years with very little problem.. One of the roof relays stopped working..cost £11, the only other problem was a front windo guide becoming detached from the glass so not an electrical problem.5 years 50,000 miles later the car is very relaible and has cost nothing more that just eveyday running costs..i dont belive this model has a bad reputation although the window giude is a known issue with a lot of owners
i have had a massive problem with my central locking. every time i try to lock it using the fob the car just opens again imediatelly afterwards. also if the passenger door is left open for about 5 seconds past a certain point all the doors lock and unlock constantly untill the door is shut. it is becoming very anoying. peugeit do not have a clue about how to fix it and alot of mechanics i have met also have no idea. sorry not to help you out but there are alot of cars with similar problems.
