My toyota diesel estima lucida has really lost power when driving?

It has really lost its revs and takes ages to get to 30mph does anyone know why. thanks

Answers:
OK , its the same with most Diesel cars that have lost power.Change the Fuel filter , its sounds like its blocked ..plus put some "Injection cleaner" in the tank as this will "Flush" the fuel system of any crap you may have sucked up from the tank.

Oh ..when you change the fuel filter , fill it up first with diesel or you will have a huge Air lock and you will flatten the battery trying to start the engine..!
not worked on many estima but check for a blocked exhaust by removing it from the front manifold then take it for a test drive see if its any better if thats ok maby there is a fault on the engine management first check if there is a map sensor fitted or a air flow metre fitted. an air flow will be just after the air filter box with a multi plug on it (wires) map sensor will probberley at the rear of the bulkhead easiest way i find is to go to local parts company buy one try it if no different take it back and say it doesent fit because (think of a reason) good luck
When last did you take it in for a service? You can try change the air filter and the fuel filter and see if that helps. But I suggest that you take it for a full service, it will help a lot.
