How can i run a diesel car on cooking oil?
Answers:
It's called "biodiesel" and here is how it works

I'm not certain, but I believe that could get you in trouble as you wouldn't be paying the tax, like people who use red farming diesel for non agricultural use. As for the technicalities of it I'm afraid this woman knows what colour it is, how to put the petrol in, and um, thats it!
i run my peugot 309 on veg oil with no seperate tank. it works fine.
you can find all the help you need on the web on whats best for your car
Best not run it on cooking oil, it clogs the injectors and other things.what you want to do is convert the cooking oil to biodiesel and run it on that.
The short answer is Google the word biodiesel. It's a tricky business, so you may just want to find a local supplier.
Yes, it can be done
Actually you could get a car to run on rapeseed oil without even needing diesel!! you need 2 fuel tanks in case you were to use frying grease(in order for the grease to heat up and melt) but that would require you to change all rings and tubes to larger ones to stop clogging. In Germany you can also get bio diesel which is basically diesel mixed with rapeseed oil.
As I said you can get the car to run on pure rapeseed oil but that also requires some adjustments.
Pour cooking oil on your driveway, then drive your car "on" it. Your car is then running on cooking oil!
go to www.dieselveg.com
I wouldn't even try that you are asking for major trouble
here is a complete conversion kit to run only the vegatable oil.

just filter the oil first no additives needed but HIGHLY ILLEGAL!!
