Can you find out someones address from their car reg?
Answers:
If you pay a fee to the DVLA they will give you the address, but they are suposed to be clamping down on this as it open to abuse, i.e. no check if you have a legitmate reason for seeking the address.
If the car is registered your insurance comany will probably be able to via the police? Did they fail to stop?
only the traffic police in UK
No, only the police can.
not unless you're a cop.
If you have the liscense #, any policeman could look up the person's name and address for you. You just have to have a good reason.
Sure can. Motor vehicle requires the applicant to submit license, which always has the address. or last address.
Only if you are authorised to access the Police National Computer ( PNC) . The info is supposed to be restricted to Police, DVLA, Customs etc.. BUT there are always ways and means if you have a friend in those organisations.
If you're in the uk, you could through the dvla but you have to be police to do that.
I know a copper who'll get it for you for a fiver and 10 penny sweets.
no you can not only way is to follow them
I think that insurance companies can as well, when my car was hit in a car park, and driver didnt stop, a witness told me the license plate.
I gave this to the loss company involved after they admitted the blame. They gave the impression that they were looking the persons details up whilst on the phone.
I certainly got the impression they did anyway.

No, only the police can.
