Is it possible to install an exhaust gas analyser permanently in a car, to give continuous readings?

I'd like an analogue gauge on the dash, giving CO percentage level. Can it be done?

Answers:
there is a company called nordskog performance that makes a digital gauge that monitors a/f ratio and one for ex. temp. that might be about as close as you get to what your asking.

Yes. What possible reasons could there be to prevent it?
you already have one if you have a feedback system. the 02 sensor should constantly be switching rich/lean. you could monitor the 02 voltage with an analog meter
If u have Electronic fuel Injection system. So u does not reqd exhaust analyser. So it can control carbon mono oxide less than 4 percent
NO!!! u will shorten the life of the sensor.those particles inside the exhaust pipe will clogged the gas analyzer.it also need to be purge to get accurate reading.i did like you did for the first time that i use it and wind up buying another machine.
