What are those sparks that u sometimes see at the rear/rear wheel of a car travelling in front of you at night

Usually It seems to come from the rear wheel or underside of the car, Looks like if a cigarette has been dropped

Answers:
there not coming from the cars u need to get off them ******* drugs your doing
They could be dragging a muffler
Unless something is dragging, there shouldn't be any sparks.
sometimes when a cars alignment is out, steel belts will be exposed from the tire, due to improper wear. this may be what you are seeing. sparks from the friction between the tire, steel belts, and the road.
