Do you think more than one car per household is greedy?
Answers:
how so? If two people own two cars, it's not greedy, it's just a luxury.a convenience. Then they don't have to wait for one another to get their daily errands done. My husband works south of where we live; I work north, if we only had one car, we'd be hard put to get to work on time. However, if it was a household of one person, then yes, having two cars would seem excessive. Here in SD, having your own car is almost a necessity.
yes
No.

Yes. People with one and a half cars are just selfish.
Unless you have a big family. then yes.
no
No! For many of us it's essential.
Hardly..One per person is mandatory
more than 2.. yes
All depends on if you need it, or if it's more convinient to have two.
Heck no! What if more than 1 family member has a job?!?
Nope, we have 4.
More than 1 car per household member is greedy. But 1 car for the entire household? No- not at all!
yeah you greedy kunt
Not necessarily. Some familes have two working parents who might not be able to find carpools and houses with teenagers have even bigger problems. (Imagine sharing one car with 4 other people)
it depends if the family member needs it daily. for example my bro works at different time and so does my parents so it only makes sense they have more than one car.
No, but I think that owning a car one cannot afford is greedy, just to "keep up with the Joneses."
No. if you can afford it .. go for it. some familys need more than one car because of work/school schedules
No. One could be a company car the other private.
Depends on your needs.
I have three, one is used to deliver mail, one is for myself to drive to work and the other is for my spouse to drive.
no. people gotta go places. If one car in a family of 4 what does everyone else do when one person is using the car?
No, some ppl especially once you have kids NEED more than one car. Like my gf and I. I have my car, that I use for things I do. (Going to work, lunch, taking things places, ect. I even recently got back from New Mexico cause I had to pick some junk up) And my gf has hers that she uses for things SHE needs to do. And most of these are going on at the same time, and we can't BOTH be doing them. And besides, if one of us has something go wrong, the other can pick the one up.

No not if different people in the house own them. To have more than one car yourself is abit greedy, but then again, if you have the money and wanna buy a second car, who are we to judge.can only drive one at a time anyway.
no.sometimes you need more than one car. My Mom has to go to work, and run errands during the day for her job and my dad has clients to visit all the time not to mention my sister goes to college and has to have a way to come home and run her errands there. Now if you have 12 cars for one person thats just crazy.
.depends on how big the household is. I don't think it is greedy if a household of 5 (like my family) with 3 grown children and 2 adults, have 5 cars. It's just necessary - people need to go different places and different times.
I think one person with 3-5 cars is greedy. But I don't see how it would be greedy to have more than one car for 2 adults or etc. It was paid by their own money, they pay the insurance, and it takes up their property. I don't think it's greedy.
no it is essential in todays society if 2 people work and have kids
no, mayb 1 person with more than 1 car.
No.
We have 2 cars in our household, because both me and my spouce work at different job location.
Besides that I would consider that greedy only in following situation: If government or some entity is giving free financial aid for residents to buy a car and you need only 1 car but bought more than 1 to abuse the financial aid, That is greedy.
NO, depends on where you live, how many persons in family, and what their needs are.
Not in this day and age! Its really hard when you only have one car trust me I know.
Not at all.
In my case we could probably get by with just one car if we re-arranged our schedules a bit. However, the ultimate mileage we travel would be actually be a bit greater because my workplace is not "on the way" to my wife's job nor the kid's school. This being the case I could argue that in my situation it is actually more environmentally friendly from a fuel consumption standpoint for us to have 2 cars.
no, unless you have a completely efficient public transport system
