we have had the car a year and have had injector trouble since day one, whereby the injector loses its code and needs to be recoded by Ford at a cost, this has happened to us 3 times, also we have had to have a new fly wheel and clutch as it had worn and we were told it is a design flaw, has anyone else had similar problems?

I assume you're in Europe somewhere.. when I lived in Sicily a few years back I read an article on the Mondeo and I'm not trying to hurt your feelings here but it's a TOTAL piece of crap, try to get rid of it. I think there are even body structure integrity issues.
