Should a 99 ford fiesta be modified?
Answers:
no ! think about it , you have to do a good expensive makeover to ever have the car at good spec !
plus you need the engine remapped etc to have the horse power to match , it would be awfull to have a fiat panda overtake you when you look so sporty .
its worth getting it done well , get hold of the ford rally and racing team to see what you can do with the engine before you start on the outside ..
I'm a Subaru fan and have the babe of all Subaru's , its cost allot but Ive got that much horse power and my car looks great with pro drive pack etc .
go to pro drive , banbury in your search engine and have a look they work on all sorts of cars ..
i feel your car is too old to be modified engine and body wise , perhaps get newer model , my Subaru now worth £22000 after its modifications .
good luck with your quest and look into it all first ..x
LIKE HOW???
lol
No Fords are piles!!! good for nothing why do that to a car that maybe goes 65 mph and is all about gas mileage!
Modified? it should be scrapped.
Why not? Any modified car is good! Cos your making something standard..better! What are you thinking of doing to it? i like modifying cars, ive had 3 myself! no better way of travelling!
Question should be, should ANY Fiester be modified, surely!!
Much nicer to see a nice 206 being kitted out..
Why dump the cash into it? after you are done you still have a tiny car with a tiny motor that MIGHT look good when you are done. Better off dropping the cash on a dawn payment for an '07 VW GTI, you will be much happier.
yes, it is easily modified with a gallon of petrol and a match! Its a fiesta.... wait until your insurance comes down, save your money and then modify a car you're gonna keep and be worth modifying.
go 4 it girl, every car with modifications are unique, there is nothin wrong with moddin a fiesta any car is good 4 moddin, hope this will help you and good luck with the modifications if you decide to go ahead xxx = )
No, leave it as it is from the factory
Any car that is modified beyond recognition is any eye-sore in my opinion. Have you seen some of the crap on the roads? Subtle embellishments are OK, but I've seen cars that look so ugly, they're like old people with too much plastic surgery! A 99 Fiesta though.Needs a bit of tarting up does it? Go for it if you want, but please don't over do it like a Pimp My Ride Reject!
Change the management chip to add another 30% of power but it will burn out the engine quicker.
I have to laugh at some of the answers here and the question, you all take car modification far too seriously :)

Qui seme le vent recolte la tempete.
im a firm believer that if you've got the money to spend on heavly modding a car, wouldn't it be better to just spend that money on a better car in the first place, for instance why spend 5k on a car then poss 20k modding it when you could buy a really good car for 25k which means you would stand out more for driving a car maybe above your class and also wouldn't look like a tosser in some car that looks like its been driven through halfords covered in blue tac and see what sticks, if your worried about insuring a better car then just buy one for 20k and use the 5k to insure it with. Of course these figures are just an example but I think you can see what im getting at.
