Hail damage to car roof?
Answers:
Hiya,
Unfortunately due to the hail being uncovered by your insurance, you won't get any joy there either. They do not cover acts of God, like thunder storms etc, but coachworks will sort it out for you. Look in yellow pages for coachworks, if that fails, go to a car scrap yard and see if they can provide you with a roof of a broken down same model car. WE have a great one in Poole, so if you can't find anyone, email me and I will try and help.
I'll take the car off your hands.
Short of doing the prep work yourself, like sanding down the paint, getting auto filler, smoothing out, and priming the body, then take it to a garage to re-spray (Unless you are confident to do it yourself) I'd contact your insurance company, but then they could always use the act of god line on you. Pretty much buggered i'm afraid.
Good luck anyway
pull the interior roof lining down.. and go over the dents from inside with a small block of wood and a hammer. new bonnet from scrappy,,, easy enough. or goto another dent repairer,,, keep looking you will find one to take it on. its money.. silly sods..
dont forget to harrass your insurance co' till they help you as well.
There are some body shops that can remove the headliner and roll the demples out and not damage the paint or surface.
Hi, you can contact with some specialist in paintless dent removal (like me) there, by the way, when was that storm? Are there many damaged cars? Thnx
