No, the new XK (and especially the XKR) is a really great GT car. Just don't get it confused with a sports car - in which case you can only really consider the Porsche 911. Fast comfortable cruising is what the XK does best.

Unfortunately, yes. My husband has a deposit for the XKR, but couldnt wait, so he bought an Aston Martin Vantage. Much more car for the money. But if you are still interested in the Jag, perhaps you would like to buy his deposit and build slot?

I dont think the Jag is junk as mentioned but dont think that you
get your money`s worth.
Buy a Kia Opirus - there is a large well-built car for less than
half the price.

Not at all you lucky lucky person. I just bought a poor man's Jag (X-type) and was stood in the showroom visibly drooling over the XK, what a beautiful machine, your money, your choice. Take no notice of the jealous remarks, get it and spend hours cruising round with a HUGE grin on your face.

Listen I have owned 3 Jags, sofar,When you say Jag to me I go queesy, my latest is a XJ40, old but beautiful.
Jaguar is the ultimate, style , comfort, you want to go fast, she will, turn the eye as well.
