Should BP now stand for "Broken Pipe"?
Answers:
I am no fan of Petrol companies but the North Slope (the location in Alaska with the 22km of old pipe) is no picnic to operate in. If the pipe line is shut down now and replaced then there will be no environmental incident in a world heritage site. The pipe is old and is over its use by date. timing may not be good, but when would be good?
I am paying £4.56 a gallon which must be near $7 / gallon and running a 200 BHP V6 so Petrol prices are always on my mind.
I think it is a bit of Bad Planning more than Broken Pipe..
British Petroleum
Bull Pedlars. Oil companies are all liars, and have been buying patents up and generally sitting on alternative energy sources for decades.
Big P.take!
What about Bigger Profits.
Bloody pilferers ! or b#stard pilagers
(beyond petroleum My Ar.se !! )
Is should stand for Bullshit Profit. Now, is the pipe leaking or are they closing it to clean out sludge build-up? I read two different stories about that yesterday. If BP was concerened about the shortage of oil then they should have checked for leaks and crap in the pipe before we were paying $3.30 a gallon. What's going to happen now? $4.30 a gallon? It is such a scam!!
