How thw e cars engine works?
Answers:
I presume that you are talking about 4 stroke engine, they are the most widely available engines on the road.
Check this out:

And you can find other type of engine there too. Diesel, 2 Stroke, rotary, etc.
suck; squeeze; bang. blow.
induction, compression, ignition and exhaust.
metal mites. they feed on petrol and it makes them run around like loonies. The engineering comes in making them all run in the same direction..
in e cars with the electric motor's help engine rotates. electric charge is generated and stored with the help of battery and alternator
Dear friend. The car engine is of 2 major types. 1. Run by diesel .According the cubic capacity of the engine the dia meter of the cylinder bore and the length of the stroke is designed. Each cylinder according to its set timings working on 4 strokes. Top to bottom or bottom to top movement of the piston is called one stroke. The strokes are suction, compression, ignition. Last is exhaust In diesel the ignition is done by hot air. In petrol engine instead of air the petrol with air is sucked into cylinder and in its power stoke a spark plug ignite the petrol mix to give power. The movement of the piston is converted into rotary motion as you see in the sewing machine by the use of crank shaft. The gear box and clutch helps to transmit the energy to the wheel via differential gear. The function of differential gear is to control different speed to the left and right wheel when it takes a turn. For elaborate study please read the book internal combustion heat engine.
