Renault Laguna 1999. The air con light comes on but it doesn't cool the air Ac is charged! What is wrong?

sounds like it needs re gassing
its a french car its not ment 2 work 4 more than a year
the air con pipe work or cooling tank needs servicing.
Check the wire connections that go onto the air conditioning unit on the engine, usually fragile enough as the unit is low down.
when you turn the air con on try and get someone to do it for you there is a relay which activates the system you should hear the compressor kicking in and the engine speed for a spilt second alter if this isnt happening it could be the relay or the compressor itself
