Peugeot 206, cooling fan makes a lot of noise when it starts running, any ideas?
Answers:
Possible bearing in fan motor wearing out.
Something caught in the fan blades or surround?
hubby is a mechanic he says replace the motor
Squirt in some WD40 - it'll help - but I guess it's on its way out.
Had same trouble with my 405 - but it had done 115,000 miles!
it may just be to old.
Throw it away and buy another make of automobile.
put a new fan on, have replaced a few of these!
