Are electric powered bikes any good?

Answers:
depends on the make, i had one, cost £400 and broke within a month. (wire came loose, was forever doing it) Was very heavy to pedal. but it beat walkin work!!
They are only just out commercially so remains to be seen if they are reliable etc. I suppose the downside will be the electricity bill for charging them
No, the point of a bike is to peddle and use your god give powers!
Well there are both Positives and Negatives about electric bikes
Only if you use them for shopping or carting around heavy stuff that you can't walk home with.
But also if you live in the mountains and are getting a bit older, they can help with some light slopes but not with the steeper ones.
A bike is for exercise and fun, and a scooter is for hard heavy-duty work. The electric powered bikes are only good for a selected few, such as weaker housewives or people recuperating from an illness etc. Not recommended for the average person..
yes it's cheap and no pollutions
