I have a BMW 325i sport, having problems, any advice?

with regards to the air conditioning it sounds like it needs re gassing just looki in the yellow pages for air conditioning companies. The over heating could be a leaky radiator do you have to keep topping it up.If you do you can buy something called chocolate drops which you can get from most car shops you just crumble it between your fingers and put it in your radiator it finds the hole and seals it.(i'm not kidding they really are called chocolate drops)
buy a chevy
A/C will not come on because of the safety built into the system whenever it senses 'overheating." The cause of overheating could be many reasons:
thermostat, coolant pressure switch, fan switch.
Did you get any work done recently. Did the car get very low on water as these water systems need to be bled out poperly, otherwise they will overheat.
These cars are prone to head gasket failure but get it checked out soon otherwise it will end up costing you a lot more as it will probably damage the cylinder head
with a car like that dont mess about take it to a BMW dealer.
There's two things I can think of to check first as far as the overheating goes.
1) the viscous fan couplings wear out on these cars eventually, meaning the engine's cooling fan isn't spinning fast enough to cool the engine.
2) Depending on the year of your car, you may or may not have water pump failure. They used plasic water pump impellors which with age would become brittle and come loose/off the shaft.
I'm not sure either of those answer the AC issue though, I'd get it looked at.
check the obvious first, overheating AND cr*p A/C! is the drive belt on ok?
after that take rad cap off WITH ENGINE COLD, squeeze bottom then top radiator hose, does the level go up and down? if yes thermostat is fine,
get it sorted sooner rather than later before you break it anymore
good luck
Sorry mate BMW are over rated . my friends 330Ci spends more time in the Garage than on the road.. ( Get a Merc )
I have the same car and my prob is similar. i took it to the dealer and the reason ur a/c is blowing warm is due to your A/c combuster/radiator leaking. did you get in an accident recently? it could be cracked and u need to have it replaced. total cost just for a/c. this was my estimate price including parts and labor.. 2,011.00 good luck..
