Are there any cars made with hub motors?

Answers:
There are no current production cars with hub motors.
Mitsubishi has developed some prototypes in the past few years, and plans a production model in the near future.
There were some many years ago, such as the Lohner-Porsche of 1901, but as internal combustion engine development outpaced that of batteries, the electric car became a niche vehicle for many decades.
I think NASA'a Moon Buggy also used hub motors.

Hub motors increase the unsprung mass of the wheel/corner assembly (to the detriment of ride and handling) and require flexible wiring, which is why they have not been used much in recent road vehicles. Also, many electric cars have been conversions of pre-existing vehicles, or used modules from pre-existing vehicles, which has made the use of a single motor and conventional driveline easier to package and develop than a hub-motor system.
