How do you keep your car clean from inside?
I have noticed when i let people sit in my car eg. family and it is a wet day they have muddy shoes. It stresses me out because im not the one sitting in the back. Is there anyway i can keep the carpet of the car clean? I mean i do have mats but sometimes jst above the mats it gets dirty. So to waffle on. I do have seat covers etc but am wondering is there anyway to keep carpet clean?
Thank u x
Answers:
depending on the age of your car and the condition.
when i bought my brand new car what i did was i went out and bought a can of 3m scotch guard and soaked the carpets with it. now i just leave the rubber winter mats in all year round so the carpet does not get dirty. and to today my carpets are in pretty good shape.
try that i tihnk it works best!
vaccum cleaner
Its not a silly question, people would wipe their feet if coming into your house on a wet day, yet they dont when they get into a car! the only way is not to let anyone ride with you I'm afraid! We don't let our dog in the car very often because of her hairs!
Know how you feel. My dad used to put clear plastic sheets on the floor, so if they got muddy, he just got a hose and sprayed them down, no probz. As for the seats, there isnt much you can do! A car simply gets you from A - B, and its never gonna stay super clean - ther not meant to. I think it feels better knowing its a tad dirty coz then you dont worry about it so much
Keep kids out!! i clean mine every week and it looks great for all of about 5 mins when the little darlings get back in it!!
yep -- shoes off before getting into car.. have a plastic tub in the boot for muddy shoes!!
or put muddy ppl on a roof rack..
There are coin operated vaccuums with long hoses at many car washes, made for vaccuuming out cars. I also have a small battery operated Dust Buster that works nicely.
You can clean your car from the inside by putting your arm out of the window when holding a soapy sponge and waving it to and fro!
Sorry.. couldn't resist.
spray your seats and carpet with one of the many fabric protectant sprays that are on the market.that will help do ckean up the mess. You can also put in a heavier car mat like the those at www.weathertech.com
I know, it frustrates me so so much when this happens!
make the scruffy buggers walk and your car will stay lovely.
mine lasts about 10 minutes after being cleaned its just one of those things.
