HELP! Got a porsche 911 carrera and the boot (engine)release cable has come off the mechanism. CANT OPEN!!?

There is a little room to play with as it was going for a respray and the rubber seal was removed before the idiot shut it..
So it has about an inch opening between lid and chassis!

IF you know any jack the lad types they may be able to get into it for you ( ASbos Permitting ), if you live in the inner cities as I do i be there are alot of guys who could get into it no problem - admittedly I wish i was one of them.

I drive a push bike, I have the same flamin trouble with the chain! It's a real pain in the neck having to keep stopping and putting the thing back on! I share your pain sister!
