Why do men that get on the underground during rush hour?

There are so many inconsiderate people on the underground it's unreal.
The insistance on reading newspapers is my big bug bear - trains leave with plenty of space for five or six people per coach more to get on if they closed their arms and budged down, but no - got to read the crappy metro and take up as much space as possible haven't we?
The other thing that's annoying is people who take great big huge suitcases onto trains in the middle of rush hour - like why? Takes us so much space - especially those who take wheelie suitcases into the office as their briefcase - the sin of all evil!
And don't even get me started about people that just pack in by the doors and rather than get off and out the way to let people get off quicker then reboard the train stand there blocking the exit. Oh and then there's people that can't wait for people to get off the train and like to walk on while they are getting off - like wait 10 more seconds or barge on - lets barge on. The train isn't going to leave any earlier you know.

They hide behind papers because its not their territory, sit with spread legs because they dare you to cross the border line because it is their territory. The Mcdonalds are eaten because they do not sell pizza in tube friendly size boxes

I put my briefcase on my lap and press down hard on their leg. That usually does the trick.

It's the male ego thing I'm afraid. Taking up space that nobody else can infringe upon. Men have to give out signals, alpha males are dominant. As a man myself, it is not the sort of thing I do, I even stand up and offer my seat to a lady or someone older than me. There you go, not all men are the same!
You need to relax and walk a bit more.
