Best second hand car for around £10k?
. any tips? I'm stuffed, coz I want something 01-02 oldest, which rules out most beemers, anything else that's boyish and fairly cheap! to anyone that says MX5 or MGF, note BOYISH!

Dodge Neon Sports are nice, but the older modles have lots of trouble. andything 2000 and better might be good. The engines are highly modifiable.
And there ARE no American made cars..Heh.at least not completely. except Honda, which is owned by Japan but operated in USA completely..wierd huh.

How about a SMART ROADSTER COUPE? I've just got one for around £7500 on an 04 plate. 698cc Turbo, 80 bhp but you'd think it was 180bhp! Good fuel economy and you can take the roof off and stick it in the boot.

A Mini (get Mini One because the insurance for an 18 year old would be too high on a cooper) - i just sold mine, but loved it.
Or Toyota Aygo - could get a brand new one in black for less than £10k and they look really good. Like a slightly smaller 207 but much more reliable.
If you want more of a boys' car then, a new Honda Civic or Clio Sport?
