Thats really all that we have that would even hold a candle to that list of Euro cars, but even the mighty ford GT doesn't challenge even the slowest of the euro cars on the circuit. The S7 I don't know enough about but I imagine its the fastest all-arounder.
Whoever said the Z06 Was the best bang-for-your-buck.

BTW I think the Z06 is just faster than the Ferrari F430, but the 430 isn't even in the top 10 fastest Ferrari's made.

I love Japanese cars but c'mon, NOTHING out of japan right now is "fast" in comparison to the euro market. Even the Z06 will destroy a Skyline GTR, and the s2000 and Z cars are a joke when compared to any of the others.
In the last decade, a lot of what Japan had was the best, but they have gotten rid of their giants like the Toyota Supra TT, the FD RX-7, and the 3000GT VR4. They are all impressive cars, but just about every car on the my euro list now has double the hp of even a Supra.
I'll also add the Mitsubishi Evolution FQ330. I saw it hold a Murcilagio on Top Gear once, worth a mention.

Leaving out really low production cars, there are clear winners.
Ferrari 430 and Corvette Z06. The Ferrari wins, but costs almost 4 times as much as the Corvette.
Nothing the Japanese now make is even close.

z06 is the smartest buy anybody looking to get into something fast and cheap (well cheap if your in the market to get a sports car) best power to price ratio!
Best American Car: NOTHING They're all crap. That's why many Americans buy Toyotas, Nissans, Suzuki's, Mercedes Benzes, BMW's, Hummers, etc. race wise, people use Fords, but Ford stands for this:

Japan: Acura NSX, 1998 Toyota Supra TT, Mazda RSX, Nissan Skyline R34
I have driven Corvettes, a Viper and a pot full of others. What I own is a Jaguar (wife's car) and a Ferrari 400i. Either car would either out run or outlast the others. European roads demand a stronger design. If $$$ was no object, I would pick the Enzo Ferrari and the Jag XJ8.
