Why can't I go on the escalator without a dog, as the sign says "Dogs must be carried"?

Answers:
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha you should have put this in the joke section
Get yourself a Great Dane then. Off you go.
Didn't you know it was compulsory?? Ha ha :)
cos they have furry feet and they might get them caught in the slats
Because dogs can't read the "mind the step" sign at the top of the escalator!

.. and as the above reply states - if they're not trained dogs (guide dogs etc)they might get their paws/fur caught or freak out at a moving floor!
IT MEANS "DOGS, IF ACCOMPANYING HUMANS, NEED TO BE CARRIED BY THEM".

Probably not oractical for a blind person and a guide dog.
since dogs have small paws with nails and they are hairy also.. they might get stuck anywhere on the escalator. also they are four legged and that increases their chances of geting hurt especially while boarding as they can not understand the yellow line.
so. really dangerous for them
what does your question have to do with the category "rail?" post it somewhere else.
my uncle is blind but very jolly he jas a problem with these sighs ie how do you know you ve gotta carry your dog when you cant see the sign but if you dont carry your dog you cant use the escaltors how does he get about this is a catch 22 situation
