Which spark plugs would you recommend?
Which would you recommend and why?
Answers:
Not sure about your MG-ZS, which engine is in it?
I know that the 2 Litre M and T series Rover engines do not like Bosch Super 4 plugs, they loose power and use more fuel. They run best on the standard NGK plugs.
If you go to a Rover dealer or PartCo to buy your plugs, they will be NGK plugs in a Unipart box. I use NGK plugs in all vehicles I work on and have never had a problem with them.
Ask on the rovertech forum, there will be plenty of people there who have tried various makes in their engines.

Use the partfinder on the NGK site to see which you need:

I use Bosch platinums. I hardly see any build up them even after 60 k. A little more expensive, but the cost is easily outweighed by the knowledge of no problems.
A bosch plug on that type of engine would be just fine. Bosch plugs are among the finest made.
go to your dealers parts counter and purchase replacement plugs.
Bosch
Bosch or Mico spark plugs would do
hey i just want to let you know. if there the platnum ones wich are the most expensive. check with your dealership to see if they are compatable. Bosch is mmy personal favorite along with msd wires. i drive a modified93F-bodyZ-28 6sp out of the 3 dyno passes 392rwhp
Bosch plugs i don't use them the center electrode is to small and burn out to fast they should last 5000 to 75000 but burn out at 35000
go with Nippon denso or autolite double platinum or iridium (better)they will last longer up to 100000 on the iridium
Bosch is as good as any what does MG recommend
ngk plugs, never had any problems with them. unless you are into racing spark plugs you'll never notice the difference anyway.
I wouldn't put a bosch plug in my lawn mower. I have seen these peices of crap burn up ignition modules and coils. If anything put NGKs in the vehicle.
The professional choice is NGK, with out a doubt, i have used all different makes of spark plug over the years, and the only 1 i have not had a problem with is NGK.
