Yes, all you need is a good angle grinder with plenty of spare blades, a hacksaw, 3 large hammers, a pneumatic drill, a welding machine and a small Phillips screwdriver.
Measure the diameter of the center hole and the bolt hole circle on your Peugeot. Most wheels have standard bolt circles like 4" or 4.5 ".Then measure the same items on the wheel you want to use. If they are the same then you can proceed to the next step.
Next take a lug nut from the alloy you want to use and see if it will thread on to your Peugeot wheel stud. If not the you need the correct nuts for the Peugeot. Then make a trial fitting of the wheel to see if the wheel and tire will clear the body and suspension items.

Ive seen loads of 205 gti alloys fitted to 306's.
And i once had a set of ford Escort wheels (TSW) on my 205gti.
They were 15" and they fitted fine. just make sure you use alloy wheel nuts. If you use peugeot alloy nuts they usually have flat fitting washers which fit to the hole in the wheel, causing them to vibrate at speed. (not sure if ford ones fit) be sure to fit domed ones like your New ford wheel has. They Must be alloy nuts though. Try any alloy wheel dealer they'll sort you out.
