Just keep it well serviced and check all fluid and oil levels regularly and it shouldnt give you any bother.
Gearboxes can be a bit on the weak side so make sure to mention the topping up of the oil in it when you drop it into a garage.
Like any car if you take care of it, then it will take care of you
my advice is run as far as possible away from these problem engines. They are not trouble free like the standard unit.
There is too much electronics
The dealers, (two in my case) an auto electrician and two independant garages can't find the faults. Some problems can be cured or eased by fitting a new battery. Others remain
Engine management lights often come on as do the air bag warning lights not such a big issue as other faults but just keep coming on to annoy you.
They are rubbish!! Buy the older non HDI units for less trouble
make sure its had a cam belt change interior is poorly made check that all electrics work they are aweak point with french cars
