Is it illegal to drive bare foot in the UK?

Answers:
I do this sometimes and I only found out the other day it is illegal
yes
Dont think so as i drive all the time like that..however i have a pair of comy shoes i can slip on if i go fill up.i am only 4 foot eleven so i need to be close to the pedals.
i dont know.geeze!
yes, because people in UK got fungus feet, so what happens is that all of the fungus sticks to the pedal, then the next person will put their fungus feet on the pedal, and the 2 funguses will get into an argument which can lead to a fight. this will cause the car to go by itself because of the pedal moving up and down.. which in turn can cause an accident. Illegal indeed
yes it is..it is he drivers responsibility to ensure that the footwear they choose is deemed suitable for driving..that is to say no flip flops ..stillettoo heels..etc.if you lose control of your vehicle due to incorrect footwear or the lack of it and have a crash you can be charged
I wouldn't recommend driving bare foot anywhere.
I dont think so as long as you have full control of the pedals -and slip etc.
i would have said not but others are telling you it is i am sure if you rang your insurance company they could tell you
