Who doesn't drive and never wants to learn or have a car?

For many years that was me, I could drive but didn't have my british licence and didn't want to take it as the thought of being responsible for so many lives scared the hell out of me, not only are you responsible for the lives of the other people in the car but also of the other people on the road, other drivers and their passengers as well as pedestrains, BUT my hasband had a fit and the doctor told him he wasn't allowed to drive for a year and had to inform the DVLA and since we live in a little village where the bus service is almost non existant, we had a major problem, so I had no choice but to take my fear and dread in hand and the very next day i went for my first proper lesson. Within 3 days i was driving the family car, ( I had got my provisinol many years earlier, in case I ever wanted to drive), with my husband sitting beside me playing back seat driver, telling me what to do and how to do it I now had to do all the driving.. I had 2 to 3 hour lessons every weekday , it was exausting and very very stressfull, but after six weeks and my second attempt I finally got my full British licence and now drive all over the place all the time.
I am still aware of the huge responsibilty and am terrified that one day i may kill someone if I am not constantly carefull but so far so good, It has been nearly 7 months now, my husband is still a terrible backseat driver and is watching me as I type this, but I am getting better every day and am glad now that I do drive and when his year is up and he is allowed to drive again, fat chance he will have of getting behind the wheel again. And now I am in for a night of conflict and stress but I hope that answers your question. (Due 2 all this stress, her nickers elastic has bust and now they keep on falling down :-) )

i dont drive. and part of me never wants to to save the enviroment and all. however i also see some cars adn think i would look really good in that. my mnd changes all the time. if i ever did get a car it would be a hybrid and i would only use it when i cant walk or ride on a bike
