When did volkswagen get rid of the fox and bridge logo on their steering wheels?
Answers:
The symbol your talking about is the crest for the city of wolfsburg germany(birth area of the vw, sort of) and without being able to see all the car lines(alot of which will never make it ino the states) it would be realy hard to state if none of them had the sysmbol on thier steering wheels. Anyways the crest has a long history in the company and I'm sure it'll be along for the rest of the company weather on a badge or steering wheel.
my son has a 88 fox and he has it hope this helps
I believe VW stopped using the Wolfsburg coat-of-arms steering wheel badge on the last run of the original Beetle, last year for the US market was 1979. Later Wolfsburg limited-edition cars have a small exterior badge on the front quarter panels, though.
