How to reset alarm on the car after I replaced the new battery on remote control?

There is a relearn procedure for most car alarm systems. You must follow the directions in order for the system to work properly.
YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO RESET ANYTHING,
hold the button(s) down for 15 seconds then press the lock button 10 times, if it still doesnt work try holding the buttons down with the battery out.
