Is there a special way to fit electronic injectors?

If they seem to big than the injector are wrong and you need to buy the right ones. If they seem too small thanyou need to think of O rings or they may also be wrong. Figure I should edit just in case. An O ring is a little rubber ring that goes around the injector on the parts that goes into the engine and in some cases or most there whould be one that goes into the fuel rail also.
