Renault megane glow plug light comes on when driving and puffs smoke and engine seems to fade no fault codes?

it's a foriegn desiel.what do you expect. get a transit as they don't have glow plugs
sounds like a blockage somewhere..

Try replacing the Heater Plugs (glow plugs) after some time they can become brittle so it's a good idea to change every 2 - 3 years or so just in case one crumbles and goes into the engine, also try some Redex diesel fuel treatment from Halfords see if it blasts the rubbish out of the engine. If not get a mini service, oil change, fuel filter change etc
Push it off a high cliff and see what happens.
