I have a 1999 FORD ka, can power steering be fitted and how much would it cost?

Answers:
Why did you buy a Ka with no power steering in the first place? The car has all the strength, power and charisma of a carrier bag and you could have got an Escort that would run rings round it for nearer £300 rather than the un-doubted 4 figure sum you paid for Beal-ze-bubs breakfast!
Your best bet is to trade it in for a car with power steering.
It would be cheaper to have a car fitted to some power stearing
swap it for one with pas already on, they dont need power steering anyway
Not worth the money and effort to accomplish this task. The bracketry, special bolts, pump, hoses, new rack, alignment, waiting for the mechanic, possible unintended problem created during major work.

Either enjoy it as it is (and build arm strength) or buy a different one.
Don't bother, I had a brand new Ka and requested non power steering, it was quite sufficient if driven properly.
Power steering can be fitted but the cost would be astronomical. a better choice would be a trade on a higher speck vehicle.
