Why isn't Reliant in your list of car makes?

Reliant Motors(UK) was best known for the three-wheeled Robin and its four-wheeled sister, the Kitten(both built out of fibreglass, w/ a Triumph engine, sold quite well in the early years, but quality eventually suffered, especially after the introduction of the two-seat roadster called the Scimtar, and later the Scimtar GTE "estate" hatchback[Shooting brake?]).eventualy, Reliant went out of business in 1994.BTW, in the late 1960s, Reliant bought out what was left of Bond Motors, maker of the ugliest three-wheeler ever made, the Bug, and later the Equipe roadster--both designed by the late David Ogle.
That's as far as I know about Reliant.oh, yeah, its most famous client was the late Princess Anne(QE2's younger sister) after she was repeatedly stopped by the Royal Constabularies throughout the UK.

cos its not a car..its a trike with a fibre glass body thrown over it..saw one involved in an accident once it was hit head on by a jag.cut the reliant in half.including the driver..but not jags fault ..reliant tried to gain extra speed going down a hill..but he couldn't see past the lorry he was following..when he pulled out it was straight into the path of the oncoming jag.scratch one reliant and driver.lesson 1. don't follow the vehicle in front so close that you cant see beyond it..lesson 2..don't buy a reliant..and sorry reliant is/was a manufacturer,keepergary..
Because it was a poor excuse for a car and not generally recognised as serious vehicle. Chuck a "pea" in the sunroof and you have yourself a whistle
