How long can you drive with a space saving spare weel?
Answers:
they are only designed to drive to the nearest place to get your other tyre fixed. You'd be right in the sh.. if you had another flat and no spare.
It is honestly designed to get you to the nearest gas station. You shouldn't really drive it like a real tire. Keep it to 100 miles
yes
50 miles max
50 miles
I don't feel safe using those little ones. I always try to get it fixed as soon as possible. I know there is a speed limit you aren't supposed to go over with them. I have never seen a time limit, though.
spare wheels are only ment to be on the car till you get somewhere safe. So basically get the tire fixed right away.
Mostyly because its not ment for high speeds.
depends what sort of car and how u drive it .how long is a piece of string
i drove 150 miles home but you need to stay below 50mph.
It is recommended that you drive no farther than about 50 miles on a "donut" tire (non-full sized spare) as they are not made for permanent usage. It is also recommended that you not go faster than 45 to 50 mph on them. So they are really only for emergency use to get you to a place where you can get your regular sized tire repaired or replaced.
As long as you don't exceed the recommended speed it wont hurt anything. But your safety is an issue due to handling characteristics and proper braking traction.
id probably say 50 miles at the most
Generally, no more than 50 miles and no faster than 50 miles per hour.
If they save space then get four of them and don't go anywhere
They are rates at 45 miles per hour. They are designed to get you on the road again but for you to take it to get your bad tire fixed. They are not designed for daily commuting
lol i got overtook by a ppl carrier with a space save on doing about 100mph last night
50 mph max 50 miles max they say
100 miles approx
I have known people to get away with it for a week or two, but owner's manuals say not to drive very fast and to get it off the car as soon as you can. They are emergency spares, not intended to be used except for brief periods, very low mileage and speed.
A friend of mine drove all way from Spain??! Can you believe it?
i dont think there is an actual limit.
but they are for emergancy use only
