Can any car mechanic help me my mondeo tdci?

i have put new injectors in it and now it will not start it tries to but wont is this because the injectors need re codeing

Answers:
I know that this sounds old fashioned but i have come across a couple of Vauxhall dti,s(basically same principle as your mondeo). When any work was carried out at the fuel system, nothing would get them started by turning over. I towed them both and they basically started first time and never looked back after it. I know it says that the vehicle shouldnt be towed but this worked for me. I only had to tow the car for a short distance, i already had the car in 2nd gear with the clutch in, then let the cluch pedal out when you are doing about 10-15mph and at the same time, turn the car over. The cars started no problem. Bear in mind not to run into the back of the other car. Good luck.
If it won't start now with new injectors, you probably did something wrong. Have a friend with some expertise in cars look at it and see if he can see the problem. If not, tow it in to your favorite mechanic.
the only way is to take it to ford so thay can re code the ecu for your new injectors
if you put in factory replacement (stock) injectors then you should be able to unhook the battery for about five minutes and then it should work if not then there is a bleeder valve on the fuel rail try to start your car then turn the key off and push the bleeder valve and if fuel comes out then i would chaek the spark plugs
you will need to take it back to ford so they can check it out. or take it to a trusted garage. the chances are you've made a mistake whilst fitting them. only ford can tell if the injectors need re coding - dont let a smalll garage even attempt to do this task it could end up costing you a fortune. hope it helps
Yes your ecu needs telling that you have changed injectors that's why they need coding. Its a way manufacturers have of making you fit genuine components.Mick Uk.
My brother is a mechanic. Just the other day we were talking about it. Once new parts are put on, often it takes special equipment to reset the codes. I suspect, with others, that a trip to a trusted facility is in order.
Sorry about the bad luck. Probably a recode won't be that much money, that is the good news.
