i know i saw something similar

Answers:
yes, its copper paste and you can buy kit at any autoparts store, its about 6-10 bucks depending on where you are and i believe its made by permatex. comes in a little clear plastic box with a blue label.
Yes try looking at your local auto parts store
unfortunately theres not..once broken thats it.bring to a windscreen specialist and see how much theyll replace the whole screen for
I repaired mine with conductive paint which is used for circuit board repairs - try www.Maplin.co.uk for a supply.

Halfords used to sell a kit for this, ask around, not very dear.
yes theres a kit you can buy from halfords,if its a break in the circuit line the kit repairs the actual line ,easy to do as well.
Whatever you do to try to fix it..DO NOT TRY TO SOLDER IT. The heat from a soldering iron will cause the wire to get hot and break the glass.
My brother had a Dodge Omni and the connector broke off. He tried to solder it back on and as soon as he put the soldering iron on it it blew the glass apart.
hey mike the old cure used to be clear nail varnish allowed to dry overnight
Halfords do a repair paint for it but it's difficult to get good results with it.
