You have to also take into consideration that a M3 has the capability of running constant 1/4 miles with the SMG transmission. But M3s come standard with a 6 speed, so a STI with 320hp would have a good chance beating an M3. Depending on the driver's experience.

off the line.definately but, under any other circumstances the m3 will smoke the sti. they have way too much high end torque.
