How i can tell if my check is right, car dealers mess around with your commission, every check i get is wrong.?
Answers:
You need to get a comission structure laid out in writing. Then you can check you comission each week/month against this.
I agree with Rae, also sounds like an unfair labor practice, I would look for another job and file a law suit against them. Hopefully you can find a lawyer that will take it on contingency. ( they get paid if you win by taking a percentage) Thank you for your prayers.
problems with a car that you sold are called charge backs. they do this to keep the customer happy and to save the deal. some dealers' do that and some don't. always ask the policy of the dealership when it comes to this. if most cars are good and ready for sale this should not be your problem that effects your gross profit.
If you can't get answers from payroll, you are getting (penciled) just ask an experienced car dog about that.
I would look for a new place to work, without charge backs if possible.
Hang in there
