No it isn't, good on you! I didnt learn until I was 30, but passed first time after only 19 lessons. They do say that when you are a little older, you should look at one lesson for each year of your life, so be prepared, but take your time, enjoy it and good luck!

Given that I think everyone should be tested every ten years, 45 is neither here nor there. Go for it.
no way ,it is never to late.your still young,in fact u probably have more common sense now ,and there is alot of that missing on our roads.
