Is there ever any 2 of the same reg plates in the UK? If not why does the DVLA need 2 no the colour of ur car?
Answers:
for partial number plate identification
It's so that the plate can't be transfered to another car illegally.
They need to know as much info as possible, Make, Model, COLOUR, etc etc.
nope there is no two same reg plates. i think it is incase there is a mistake with the reg.
There are always 2, and only 2, official reg number plates (except for motorbikes) - front and rear
the colour & make help catch illegal clones
The reg number is only ever issued once, The DVLA usually ask the colour of the car as a) some poeple put false plates on cars b) some poeple change the colour of thier car to avoid paying fines E.g Speed cameras
Helps to identify the car and against fraud
