A VAN rental company where I can hire the van in the UK, load it with furniture and drop off the van in Spain?

Virtually impossible due to the insurance! There is a company down here that does a cheaper job by letting you help load yourself.will try & find details, where in Spain are you coming to?
Try hertz rental.
Any of the big ones, like Hertz, Avis and Budget, where you can also hire them abroad, could well do this - try them first.
if it were me i would go to the auction, buy a cheap van for about 600 take it to Spain and just sell it there for "whatever". be cheaper than Hertz
hiya youd probaly be cheeper buying a van an doing the removal your self and then go an sell the van after wards and make some money back
