Not adding coolant just water.no miss fire. no vapour from exhaust.still have power.do i have a blown gasket?

there's no way to know this until you drive it and see if its going to hold pressure ,it may do good at an idle but it needs to be run and see what happens,if its not missing now it may turn out to be alright on it,,good luck with it.
You may have. Some gaskets allow water/coolant to go into oil pan. Take off oil filler cap and look for tan foam. Check oil for milky appearance. If either, it is SERIOUS and will destroy the motor.
If you still have power your gasket may be ok, it's possible you've cracked a water jacket and the water is leaking in that way.
Usually if you have blown your head gasket you'll find a loss of power due to lack of compression.
Have the same problem. Can not find any thing wrong. checked every thing. 60,000 miles later no problems. still adding water/antifreeze. about 1 quart every 3000 miles
Unless the car is not behaving sas it's supposed to then you probably don't have a problem. A blown Head gasket will expose itself with oil that looks like milk, reduced power as a split in one or more cylinders has occured and/or overheating. Most vehicles will run fine with ordinary water in the system, but if your planning a trip through the Sahara desert you may want a more efficient coolant.
try cupping hands behind exhaust pipe with engine on if you get a sweet smell anti freeze you have gasket leak if oil level is higher than nor mal water is in sump cold be gasket or cracked block
If you have no water leak from anywhere its a head gasket blown .Try running the car over a very dry place then see if there are any leaks after a few minutes,Then check your oil to see if its changed colour to a milky brown. it may be a very small head leak but they do not cure themselves and will cause a breakdown sooner more than later. I am repairing a Renault were the customer insisted in running his car every day by topping it up , eventually the gasket blew the damage to their engine it terminal .instead of a £250 job it will cost him about £1100
