I think BMW drivers are arrogant. Do you agree?

Mercedes Benz drivers aren't much better mind you.

BMW = Bad Mannered W__krs, sorry but its true

Only three types of people own merc's: old men, pimps and drug dealers!

Volvo driver's are not much better as the drivers think they cannot be hurt in their tanks!
yeh they think they own the road
yes
Nope, it's not the car, its the person
Is it because they can afford to drive one and you can't?
yes, until i own one, then i will disagree
hahaha..never noticed
yeah they are, but the girls that usually drive beamers are fine
Well, some but no all. You can't judge a book by it's cover. Perhaps some people who drives BMWs made a bad impression on you so you dislike ALL BMW drivers. Not all of them are arrogant! (I don't drive a BMW by the way.)
Well I think they get conceited because they drive 'the ultimate driving machine'. HA!
Hell yeah. I've been waiting for someone else to agree with me about that.
I think anyone who drives his/her own car is arrogant.
I agree completely with you.
The main difference between porcupines and BMW's is that porcupines have their pricks on the outside!
nope, owned 1, and a merc an i actually own the road and the lights an the white lines, get the heck offffffffffff my road lol
I live in Germany where both those makes are produced (mostly) and over here it's different, but your typical US buyer of those makes tends to make a bit more than the average joe and probably comes off as arrogant. They ARE fabulous cars :)
why all the jealousy?
Not all of them.. that crown goes to Volvo drivers! Haha.
I totally agree with you about BMW and Mercedes drivers!
They've paid so much for their cars, that yes, they do think they own the road.
Big arrogant cars! big arrogant heads!
They think twice when they're boxed in by Kenworths and Macks on the Interstate. Kinda cures their arrogance.
I think it has to do with the owner's/driver's personality. It can also be a phase. When someone buys a new car which is relatively higher cost than a regular honda, ford, etc., they engage in a feeling where they have a better car compared to everyone else. However, when the car gets older, the owner will lose that feeling.

I own a 2006 BMW and I do feel that my car is better than everyone else's. However, I'll never put anyone down because they're car is cheaper than mine.
It isn't usually the car, it's the driver and his or her attitude. The drivers I think are most arrogant are those with cell phones in their hands and ears, cutting me off in my own lane, and then giving ME the finger.heck, that wasn't a BMW, it was a Yugo.
Actually no its not just BMW drivers its everyone who feels their car is an extension of themselves lol
I don't think much of the car, either. The Mercedes? It's basically a Chrysler. Didn't you know? Now you know why the pattern. You never left home.
yes i would say bmw owners are a bit arrogant. when you buy a nice car like that, you have to automatically assume your better than everyone else. it just comes with the car. id put bmw on the bottom of the barrel though. audi is better, and porsche shits on bmw. so when i get my porsche, than i can admit arrogance. ; )
You are stereotyping. However, you're right. Usually its the upper class that thinks they are better than everyone else. They are upper class so they can afford a BMW's price tag. And they can afford the huge bill when it breaks down. So theres the association.

But dont hate the car. Hate the arrogant bastards that are taking over america.
NO i do not think so, as i am one SORRY, just your choice of car that's all ,all cars are what you make them small , large , old , new , that's the cars for you isn't it .
It's certainly true of many 3-series drivers. You don't tend to get the same problem with 5 & 7 series. As has been said, it's the person not the car, but it does seem that BMW drivers have an "I own the road, and the rules don't apply to me" approach
They're just impatient, they have FAST cars that have the power to be quicker off the mark than most. BMW's are about the only thing that can beat my Golf (deisel) at a set of lights, usless info.
But, hubby drives a BMW so i'd best disagree with you.
YOUR ONE JEALOUS *** HOLE
i think its because they spent so much on their cars that they fell in a way that they have bought a bit of the road, a BMW is often regarded as a status symbol and so people who buy them often buy in the knowledge that they will be sending out a message that they have money. those people are quite often not really to well off and have made the purchase on debit that they can barely afford, i dont really like these people much and laugh at em when they make a purchase the people who can buy outright afford a BMW dont really show off at all they just want a cozy reliable cruiser.
It is because most of them are driven by people who seek status and have low self-esteem. Now, mind you, I drive one. Hahaha. But, I drive one because of the road mannerisms, handling, and performance. I am a HUGE stickler on auto performance. I wouldn't touch anything else excpet a BMW unless I won the lottery.and even then, only after I had 4 or 5 BMWs in the garage. So, unfortunately, me and the other 10% of BMW buyers who love their BMWs because of the amazing performance and "drive-ability" get lumped in with soccer moms, hairdressers, real estate agents, pension fund kids, rich daddy's girls, etc.

'Tis unfortunate really.
I definitely used to think so but then my husband bought a BMW. I'm not arrogant, never have been, and my driving has not changed. However, other people seem to assume that I will be arrogant and pushy, so its a nice surprise (I hope) when I'm considerate.

By the way, we only paid £2000 for the car - they're not all very expensive!
