Speeding ticket in America?

Can any one tell me what will happen to my friend if he does'nt pay a speeding ticket he got while on holiday in america (florida).

Answers:
More than likely, nothing will happen to him unless he comes back into the states and gets pulled over again. He will lose his license in the states and have a warrant for his arrest but it's an extremely minor crime and I wouldn't worry about it unless he's planning on coming back.

If he does plan to come back, than I would just send the money in. That way he doesn't have to worry about it.
He will have a bench warrant for his arrest until he pays it.
Probably nothing, it is a civil infraction not a misdemeanor or anything serious, as long as he doesn't live here nothing will happen.
Nothing, unless he comes back and gets another ticket! As a rule of thumb, don't pay any ticket until you receive notice to do so in the mail.
THEY WILL TRACK HIS BUTT DOWN AND TICKLE HIS PEE PEE.SO MAKE DAMN SURE HE PAYS IT.
i suppose he could eventually end up in jail
Usually, with enough time and any more infractions a warrant is issues for arrest. That information will turn up everytime you need to use any state agency such as DMV, etc.
nothing if he never comes back
a warrrent will be issued for him but they arent going to go to another country to get him
he will only be picked up if he comes back to florida
wouldn't it just be easier to pay the ticket?
A warrant will be issued for his arrest, and if he ever gets pulled over in America again, he'll go to jail. It's best to just mail in the money than risk going through that hassle.
Tell your friend to pay it and next time, don't go speeding through our country!
A warrant will be issued for his arrest if he does not pay the ticket. I am not sure if they will apply overseas - you need to check this out with your own government.

If he does drive in the United States again without paying he can be arrested.
probably nothing. I dont think he'll be extradited because of a speeding ticket, but if he visits the U.S. often then he should pay it or he will loose his right to drive in the U.S.
he could go to jail
Tell him to read the tiny words on the back side.
he could lose his license it will go on his credit report as bad , and maybe a few days in jail
Eventually the court system will swear out a warrant for his arrest. If he ever enters the country again, BAM! he's going to visit our lovely jail system and be processed through the courts to pay his fines (accumulating daily).
Unilateral, preemptive war.
Is he still in the United States?

Staties and non-corrupt town cops will give you a certain
amount of time (30 days, at least) to pay the fine before they
start getting fiesty (assuming it wasn't 200mph in a 30mph zone).

How does he have his license? That license will be "marked"
with the infraction and if he ever tries to use it again, he could
find himself in deep trouble for having failed to pay the fine.

No, no police will attempt to have someone extradited for
speeding tickets. It would cost more money in legal fees
than could possibly be recouped from the speeder.

Also, I doubt highly that there are any countries that have
extradition treaties with the US for anything other than
felonies.
Don't even ask. Tell him to pay up.

Don't mess with Uncle Sam. Ever.
Don't drop the soap
These days he will probably be extradited using the new fast track system that the Birmingham Three have had put on them.
