Peugeot 206 please help..?

.just bought a used 206 and want to do the usual oil and water checks under the bonnet. I don't know where to put the water in! Is it the same as a 'coolant reservoir? When I open the bonnet, there'a a big white plastic bottle on the left at the back with a black plastic cap on the top which has a picture of an opened book on it. Is that where the water goes? Plllllllleeeeeeeaaassse help.

Answers:
Coolant reservoir is where you check the water. Don't open it when the engine is hot, unless you fancy a face full of boiling water.

If you haven't got an owners manual it may well be worth getting a Haynes manual as this will give basic maintenance info.
Find yourself a good mechanic (before you need him/her). Let him/her do the regular servicing and I am sure they will not mind taking you through what needs to be topped up and where and answering any other questions you may have about it.

Regular servicing and maintenance carried out properly will keep your car safe and save you hundreds of pounds in saved fuel, less break-downs and enhance the value of your car when you come to sell it.

Also read the hand-book that should have come with it and if you did not get one, buy one from the local Peugeot Main Dealer read it and keep it in the glove-box.
yes the big plastic bottle with the black cap is where u put the water. fill it to the second ridge on the bottle. u should use coolant rather than water. i've a 206 as well u should also use semi syntehic oil 10w/40 best of luck with it.
Very simple. Remove the cap from the reservoir, drive (or push) the car into the nearest river. That will fill the cooling system and release you from the horror that is Peugeot.
